A successful sponsorship engagement will live or die by the activation which supports it. Too often, deals are done with no real thought up front to how a business may wish to activate using the rights down the line. This then leads to the classic "I thought we could do that..." discussion and a nasty shock when the business discovers the rights may not be 'fit for purpose'.
